Summary:

The purpose of this project is to explore the Interfirm Demand Integration (IDI) Process model from a true supply chain context capturing the perspectives of several trading partners within a supply chain.
The IDI Supply Chain case study research project is focused on exploring how leading companies integrate processes with their trading partners to bridge the gap between supply and demand activities to improve supply chain performance. Our research team wants to better understand how firms integrate activities such as collaborative forecasting, demand planning, and demand management with their trading partners.
