Equipment Scheduling and Optimization Phase 2 – OSU06-HLBT

This project develops an optimization model to minimize the cost of a process including its respective constraints.

Summary:

This objective of this project is to minimize the total cost of all assigned pumps (pumps required to satisfy the flow rate and backup pumps) at Halliburton considering nine different constraints.
This project will create an optimization model that will determine the optimal configuration and assignment of pumping equipment at the multiple Halliburton camps. This project aims at providing a tool to allocate resources (specifically the pumps) to each of the jobs (wells) considering the main requirements and the backup requirements in a best possible way (least cost with higher reliability).
